* HOW ARE YOU? I’M FINE, THANKS.
* WHAT DAY IS IT TODAY? TODAY IS THURSDAY

* WHAT’S THE WEATHER LIKE TODAY? TODAY IT’S SUNNY
4. CONTENT (30’)

Ask students these questions going from a question in simple present to a question in present continuous at a time, eliciting the answers:
* DO YOU GO TO SCHOOL? YES, I DO./ NO, I DON’T.
ARE YOU GOING TO SCHOOL NOW? YES, I AM./ NO, I’M NOT.

* WHAT ARE YOU DOING NOW? I AM STUDYING ENGLISH.
4.2- Jobs
Show pictures of some people working and elicit their answer:
* WHAT ABOUT THESE PEOPLE? ARE THEY STUDYING? ARE THEY WORKING?
- On the board, put some activities related to the pictures you showed them, for instance: cut meat, make bread, write, clean etc.
- While pointing at the pictures, ask them: WHAT IS SHE/HE DOING? And elicit the answers: HE IS CUTTING MEAT
- Ask them to say some jobs in English and include the ones you have in the pictures: secretary, baker, butcher, housekeeper, pilot, sailor, chef, actor, musician etc.
* After training the vocabulary a little as a group, make them ask each other pointing to the pictures; have two or three pairs show for all the group before pairing them up to practice: WHAT IS SHE/HE DOING?
